"Like an archaeological dig. The author utilizes a modern day crime saga to bring to life the mysteries of Camp Hero, a little known abandoned military base in Montauk Point, on the east end of Long Island, NY. Camp Hero, which sits amid the majestic bluffs of the Atlantic, contains numerous bunkers that housed heavy weaponry designed to thwart a Nazi attack on the United States during WW II. Once the camp was decommissioned, many believed the labyrinth underground network was the site of government sanctioned human experiments that included mind control, time travel, LSD experimentation, and child abuse. The reader is taken on a wild adventure above and below ground as a weary NYC private investigator comes to Montauk on a case and uncovers long held secrets that are shockingly frightful. A delightful read on all fronts."
"A well written enjoyable detective story. This book is a real page turner especially if you know Montauk at the tip is the South Shore of Long Island. A great summer beach read, I highly recommend it."
